I'm a bit discouraged today, for just one day after dialysis and back on diuretics, I'm swelling up again. Still, there's dialysis Friday. One day at a time. We celebrate with cosmopolitans at night, as we light the menorah. Cosmopolitans are permitted on the low-potassium low-sodium diet, and they fit within the fluid restriction if you just have one. Carol is cooking with her usual creativity and brilliance.

Enough already. This saga is going to go on for a long time, I'm afraid. My patients are all transferred, and I hope to go back to work at my salaried jobs next week. Day by day.
