SUNDAY

Jonathan the rapper

Sunday morning we cabbed down to 3rd Street. Andy and Neal joined us for a brunch from
Russ and Daughters with coffee, espresso, and cappucino made by Jonathan, wearing his birthday rapper suit, with his new cappucino machine. Of course for Neal and me, no Gaspee salmon, no Baltic salmon, no Scottish salmon, but I did have a teeny taste of each (Gaspee is the least salty and it is divine), and a piece of moist sturgeon, which is relatively low in salt, with some great chive cheese, on half a Kossar's bialy. Yum!

By afternoon, I was taking it all for granted. I got lost in Jonathan's computer ordering a new laptop online, ignoring the real treasures that were right there with me. Forgive me all. I had the most wonderful weekend. I am so grateful.

The train back was overbooked, with a nasty conductor, but we got good seats. Nevertheless, a Letter from Farklempt will be forthcoming.
