Carol and I went down to Newport for a quiet day. We did some shopping, had a lovely lunch at Saigon on West Main Road in Middletown, and took in a movie, The In-Laws, with Michael Douglas and Albert Brooks. This is a really funny movie, very light, no depth to it, but well done. Michael Douglas does have a flair for this kind of comedy, and Albert Brooks is priceless as a dentist, or podiatrist, or any kind of straight man.
