Josie in dunes

Jonathan, Marjorie, and Josie drove to Newport on Thursday. She quickly learned the layout of the condo and its hidden treasures.

We grilled lamb chops for dinner. Jonathan and Marjorie went out to the movies, and we happily babysat. She sings herself to sleep with "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." Did you know that the song has 5 verses? Are you surprised to hear that Josie sings them all from memory in tune?

Friday, we did some shopping, and then we went out to pick the last of the strawberries of the season. They were yummy.

Our final stop was at the fish pier, where Josie was amazed to see gigantic 7 lb. live lobsters and rows of huge fish. We chose a slice of swordfish, just off the boat, which we cooked for Shabbat dinner.
